These speaker cables are intended exclusively for connecting power amplifiers to passive loudspeakers, never connect them to mains power (230 V) or use them as power cables, even where connectors appear mechanically compatible. Connect and disconnect only with the amplifier switched off; the outputs of high-power amplifiers can carry voltages high enough to cause electric shock during operation. Ensure the speakON® connectors are fully inserted and locked before operation. Route cables so they pose no trip hazard and cannot be pinched, kinked, or run over; at events, secure open cable runs with tape or cable ramps. Do not use cables with visible damage to the sheath or connectors, and protect the connectors from moisture and dirt during outdoor use and transport.
